Although there are data limitations in the Caribbean, this does not prevent insurance and pension funds to perform their own mortality studies to ensure their mortality tables correctly reflect the risks in their portfolio.

Hi, I am working in an actuarial exercise with a data set of Curaçao insureds. Could you tell me about a recent mortality table of the Island? I have foud a work by Arthur Rosenda: “Coherent Mortality Analysis Of Curaçao”, but I would need a complete and recent mortality table of the Island for my analysis. Thank you in advance.

  Hi, you can check the CBS for overall mortality information and Phenox/Buck actuaries on mortality tables for the insured part of the population
